Dominium Interview Questions
& Process

It was a Superday with 4 interviews, conducted in-person with partners and associates. It was mostly behavioral, focusing on why I want to work for Dominium, specifically in Affordable housing development, my educational background, and my work style. There wasn't much technical questioning, but there was a 30-minute Excel test where I had to build a mock cash flow model. There was also a behavioral test that included behavioral questions and some simple algebra and pattern recognition.

A recruiter will reach out. My recruiter rescheduled the phone screen 4 times, but I was persistent. After a single-question phone interview, I met with the Regional Manager at their property for an onsite interview.

Started with a quick online application. Got a phone interview within 10 days. Scheduled an onsite interview, but they called a few hours later to reschedule it for another day. Went to the onsite interview and arrived 5 minutes early. The Regional Manager met me and mentioned I didn't have keys, so couldn't give me interview questions, and I'd have to wing it, which made me feel like my time and qualifications weren't valued. The interview lasted 45 minutes. The Regional Manager explained their usual process is phone, then in-person, followed by an online assessment if they liked the candidate, and then a second interview with their manager if the candidate fit the company guidelines. However, due to a conference out of state next week, they'd be in touch after that. I waited until the following week after the conference and called the interviewer. Initially, she didn't recall who I was or my interview 11 days prior. After I reminded her, she apologized, saying she was catching up from being out of state and planned to review candidates the next day, promising to contact me in the evening. Three days later, I still haven't heard back.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. A recruiter contacted me and set up the interview. I went through one to two rounds of interviews, usually with analysts and associates. They had pretty quick response times. They really want to gauge your interest in real estate development, so they advised to just be yourself and answer questions as authentically as possible.
