First I had a phone call with the recruiter, then a follow up zoom interview with HR and the hiring manager. The third interview was with HR, the hiring manager, and the department head. They asked me to prepare and present a training presentation on zoom as a demo of how I'd teach users. After that third interview, I had to complete an example daily recap form within 20 minutes. I got an offer and was told to negotiate it with my future manager, not HR. They also asked me to let them know about any other offers or opportunities I had. I countered and mentioned another opportunity, and then they unprofessionally rescinded the offer.

It's a three step process. First, you have a phone/discovery interview where you talk to the hiring manager briefly about the position and your needs. Then, you have an in-person interview with the managers. You'll go in depth about what they're looking for in an applicant, and they'll show you the team and the rest of the company so you can get familiar with what a day-to-day looks like. They make sure you understand what the company stands for and that you're comfortable in your future role. Finally, there's a drug test and agreement signatures.

The interview process involved two in-person interviews. The first was to meet the team, and the second was with the VP. It's important to know that this company doesn't follow up. I followed up myself after the interview, but I never heard back from the hiring manager. While the company has a great brand, the candidate experience for job seekers at DE is really bad. Management, especially recruiters, should understand how crucial it is to follow up with candidates and update them on their status. This wasn't done, which was super disappointing for such a well-known company. Be ready to wait a while!

The interview process felt really long and drawn out. It seemed like they didn't have many candidates to choose from, and the interviewers weren't the final decision-makers, even in the last interview. Decisions had to be approved by people who never even met me. The office was pretty quiet, but it looked unorganized, and people didn't seem very happy. The interviews weren't structured; it felt rushed, like they wanted to get you out quickly. There was no consistent follow-up, so I was always left wondering if I'd hear back. There were about four interviews before the drug test and background check, which added another week. It was definitely too long for this role. Be ready to talk about your skills versus what they listed in the job description. Give brief, to-the-point answers. Ask questions about the job, even if you think you know the answer.
