The interview process was pretty standard. I had a phone interview with my direct supervisor and the national sales manager. I didn't talk to anyone from corporate. It was very direct and simple. There wasn't much room for negotiation since all sales reps get paid the same, regardless of their experience level. State reps make 50K, and regional/multi-state reps earn more.

I had two phone interviews. The first was a pre-screening, and then I had an interview for the conference with the Team Lead. Both people I spoke with were great and very friendly. I got the offer about a week and a half after the last phone interview. I had to do the usual paperwork & take a drug test.

It was a multi-stage process. It began with some introductory calls from a recruiter, followed by several phone interviews with the Director, Product Managers, and potential teammates. After the interviews, I completed a DISC assessment. Near the end, there was a presentation where I had to evaluate a dealership.
