Applied online and sent in my resume and cover letter. Then got a call for a phone interview that happened right then and there. After that, I had an in-person interview scheduled for a specific time, but the interviewer wasn't ready for about 15 minutes past the start time. The interview itself was a bit strange; he asked the typical questions, but he kept rubbing his eyes like he hadn't slept, and he yawned a lot. He didn't take any notes but was clearly doing other things, like emailing other staff while I was answering. I left the interview feeling pretty down.

I arrived ten minutes early for my interview. The receptionist took my name and informed the regional manager I was there. After waiting five minutes past my scheduled time, the regional manager came to get me. I was surprised by his very casual appearance, which made me feel like I was interviewing for a different type of job. I got a bad feeling right away, and it turned out my suspicions were correct about them looking for people to fit a certain mold. I already had another job offer, but I attended this interview out of commitment. The interview, scheduled for thirty minutes, was actually less than ten minutes long. He asked me a few basic questions and kept asking if I had any questions for him. He seemed to have already made up his mind. He told me I would hear back in a week, but I received an automated email two days later saying I wasn't selected. I wish he had just been direct and told me I wasn't what they were looking for. I'm glad this interview is over and I'm looking forward to my new job starting Monday.

There was a 2 hour prescreening where I had to give my work history/experience, fill out an application and complete 3 assessments (one involving handwriting analysis). The second interview was scheduled, but the day before, Cody cancelled all interviews because he found a candidate and offered them the job, which they accepted. I found this to be disrespectful since they wasted my time if they weren't going to interview all qualified candidates.

You'll usually meet with HR or the Regional Manager at the corporate office. The interview can take place in a conference room or at one of the stores. If they like you, they'll typically contact you within a few days to a week. Overall, it's a good process.
