First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DocuWare.
Product Manager
the whole thing took about 3 weeks. first, there was a 60 min meeting with HR and the Hiring Manager where we talked about culture and dove deep into product stuff. next, a 75 min round that involved a case task and then presenting/discussing it with the Hiring Manager, another product manager, and HR. finally, a feedback round with HR.
- Can you tell me about a time you failed and how you handled it?
QA Engineer
The interview process started with a 30-minute MS Teams call with HR to discuss the role and my background. After that, I got an MS Teams invite for a second interview. The email said it was to get to know me and see if I was a cultural fit, but it turned out to be a 50-minute technical interview, which was unexpected. The third round involved a case study. Unfortunately, I was rejected a few days after the second interview.
- The hiring manager, since they were hiring their first QA, asked basic questions about the QA process and SDLC.
- The other interviewer, who was from a different department, asked all the technical questions concerning Selenium and the framework used in their project.
- It seemed like they were asking questions from a checklist for which they had the solution, and if the response wasn't the same, you didn't score any points.
Machine Learning Engineer
I had two interviews. The first interview was a meet and greet with the recruiter and the head of the department, focusing on getting to know each other and checking basic technical knowledge. The second interview was a use case presentation with the department head and two employees. I received the use case description a couple of days beforehand. During the interview, I presented my solution, discussed my choices, tradeoffs, and scaling. DocuWare's process was very professional. The recruiter and technical staff were friendly, making it feel like a discussion with colleagues. Despite technical issues in the second interview, their demeanor helped reduce my nervousness. Both interviews were online. I had time to ask questions, which were answered thoroughly, and I was informed of the next steps.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Can you briefly walk us through a project you've worked on?
- Were there any technical questions outside the scope of the job description?
Channel Manager
I applied online and got an email a few days later asking for my availability and proposing a specific date and time with a video meeting link. I confirmed right away but didn't hear back. I emailed the generic address and messaged them on LinkedIn a few days later because I was worried they didn't get my response, as companies usually send calendar invites, not just a link. About five days after my first email, they finally responded, saying I should have just treated the link in the email as the official invite. After that, I had a screening call with HR and the VP. HR apologized at the start, mentioning their budget was much lower than I expected, but I said I was still interested. The call went well, and HR said I'd get feedback by the end of the next week, but then they ghosted me. I feel it's disrespectful not to send at least a generic rejection email.
- Could you describe your approach to channel management?
