First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Doc B's Fresh Kitchen.
Server
I got an email back pretty quick, within 2 days, and then had a quick 10 minute Zoom call with the GM and Service Manager. After that, I had a short in-person chat with one of the managers about a week later.
- Can you share an example of when you had to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously?
Food Server
The interview process was pretty relaxed, I thought. First, I talked with the GM, and they mainly asked about my previous work. After getting the green light from them, I had a second chat with the manager of that specific restaurant location.
- Could you describe your previous experience?
- What actions would you take in a given situation?
- What role do you typically play on a team?
Host
Character and attitude are innate, but skills can be learned. In this interview, we'll present different scenarios and ask you how you'd react. This helps us see your perspective, priorities, and if you view challenges as opportunities for growth and learning, or even find them humorous.
- Could you define what a great customer experience is from your point of view?
Hostess
I learned about the hostess opening through a friend. I found the job posting online and submitted my application. About a week went by, and then I got a call to set up an interview. My first interview was a quick 15-minute one-on-one. They got back to me another week later to schedule a second short interview.
- Can you tell me about a difficult situation you faced and how you handled it?
