It was a straightforward process. I had an interview and then received an offer letter. It was super easy, and I'd totally recommend it to anyone looking for a new role.

I had a phone interview with HR, then another phone interview with the regional manager. After that, I had a face-to-face interview with a regional manager. Then I was flown to IN for two days for interviews with several people. I was also sent home to complete some assessments. After waiting over a week for a response from DIB, I received an email from generic HR saying they weren't interested, which felt like a waste of my time. I took two personal days off work for the IN trip. Given today's technology, I think we could have used Skype or Google Chat. Also, the assessment should have been done before the travel and face-to-face interviews. If a company makes decisions based on a 4-hour assessment, it might not be a good company to work for.

I applied online at the beginning of December. The next day, I was asked to do an online assessment. After that, the talent acquisition team contacted me to set up an in-person interview for the following week. The first interview had standard questions like 'What do you currently do?', 'What do you like/dislike about your current role?', and 'Describe a time you helped someone at work with compassion.' It was pretty straightforward. Later that week, I got invited for a second in-person interview in the first week of January, about three weeks after the first one. I met the VP and some other people. They asked similar questions to the first interview and really wanted to get to know me better on a personal level. I felt good about both interviews and asked a lot of questions. I also chatted with some employees to get a feel for the place. Before I left, I asked about the timeline for a decision, and they said sometime the next week. It's now been three weeks since the second interview, and I followed up with an email but haven't heard back. I'm not sure if there are delays or if they're still deciding, or if they've just ghosted me. I was really excited about this job and showed my interest when I met the team. Now I'm bummed because I haven't heard anything. Even if I didn't get the job, a response would have been nice. It's sad because I really liked the people and this role would've been a great step toward my career goals. So I didn't get an offer, I just never heard back at all.

The interview process was organized and professional. It kicked off with a phone screening by an HR rep, who asked about my background, my interest in the role, and my qualifications. The questions were relevant to the job posting. Next, I had a second round with a panel, where they focused on my payroll processing experience. They let me share examples from my last job and were interested in how I solve problems and work with others. The team was nice and clear about what they expect from the position and how their recent acquisition might affect things. They also gave me time to ask my own questions, making it feel like a mutual discussion.
