Found the job through a recruiter. Had an initial chat with them, then they set up a call with the company's HR. Followed by a virtual interview with the hiring manager, and then an onsite interview. The onsite was a panel with the hiring manager and team, which was 30 mins, and then another hour long panel with the team members. The recruiter was my main contact and I didn't get the job after the onsite. They responded quickly and it all went smoothly.

The interview process had more stages than usual. There were multiple interviews with the hiring team and HR. Candidates were required to visit the production facility in Mie and have an interview with the CEO. This indicates a long screening process. I assume they prefer candidates who apply for only one position.
