Got an on-campus interview after a career fair chat that I didn't think went great. The on-campus interview was virtual, and I had to answer technical questions on a blackboard site. The questions were pretty easy. Then, they invited me for an in-person interview in Chicago. This included a tour, three rounds of technical questions, and lunch. I didn't hear back about the final decision until at least a week after they said I would. Overall, the interviews are way more technical than behavioral. They give you a few problems on paper and expect you to explain how you'd solve them.

I interviewed for an Automation Engineer role at the Houston office. Just a heads-up on this one. The process kicked off with a 1-hour online whiteboard technical interview covering general engineering and coding. Then, there was a final ~4-5 hour block which included a technical physics/engineering part, a debugging section, and a general behavioral part, each with different interviewers. Most of the experience was great, and people were generally nice and friendly. BUT, after the final round, I had a follow-up call with the hiring manager who was quite insulting, which was really unexpected and disappointing. Honestly, I'm glad it didn't work out and I won't be applying here again.

So I had this interview, first with HR. It was about 30 mins of basic screening questions, then another 30 mins for a 4-question exam taken over webcam. They said it tested "fundamentals of an engineering education" - like, one simple math problem, a pseudocode problem, a fermi estimation, and then this random question about building a fridge control system. I think I did okay, maybe a little math error 'cause I only had like 7.5 mins per question. Got a generic rejection email a week later. Annoyed 'cause I actually know the software they use and they didn't ask about it, just this rushed technical test.
