So there were about four to five interviews in total. It started with the hiring manager, then I talked to a peer, someone I would potentially work with. After that, I had a meeting with the hiring manager again, but this time the VP was there too. The whole process wrapped up with a final interview, back with the hiring manager.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • The interview process felt overly granular and restrictive. Interviewers rigorously examined every detail of the job description, probing my comfort and comprehension of each element. This approach seemed controlling and excessive, suggesting a preference for a compliant employee over an independent and successful professional.
  • The interviewer fixated on a strict start time daily, which is unusual for a management role. This emphasis on punctuality over performance and productivity raises questions about the company's adaptability and faith in its leaders, possibly indicating a mismatch between the job's demands and the company's culture, which could be an issue for a senior role needing independent decision-making.

It was a multi-stage interview process. I had some one-on-one chats, and then a final interview where I met with the whole team. All the interviews felt pretty relaxed and not too stressful. The last one was with the entire department and had way more questions.

It was a pretty straightforward interview process. They mainly asked questions and were very kind and welcoming, not trying to trick me. They were interested in my past experience. It was quite easy overall and consisted of one interview round. They did conduct a reference check, so having good references and some education will definitely help you succeed.

I had one interview that lasted about 2 hours. Six people interviewed me, and they were a mix of analysts and portfolio managers. Most of the questions were behavioral. The team was really great, so don't be too stressed about it.
