I started with a phone screening. After that, I had to take some tests for my grammar, spelling, filing, and Microsoft Word skills. About a week later, I went in for an in-person interview. I met with the Manager of Secretarial Services first, then I talked to two Project Team Coordinators. It was a pretty relaxed interview overall. The next day, I got an email saying they wanted to move forward with an offer, pending a background check and employment verification.

I was contacted by an HR person for an interview, which involved a four hour drive. Upon arrival, I completed several tests related to the job, and I did really well on them. After some waiting, I went into the actual interview. It was like a continuous stream of people, one after another, and many of them asked me the same questions, which felt repetitive. It wasn't clear who I was talking to. I was also a bit annoyed because right away they asked if I was overqualified, which made me wonder why they invited me for an interview, especially from out of state, if that was their concern.

I had an hour-long Zoom interview with two hiring managers, skipping the recruiter screening. It was mostly competency-based, focusing on how I'd handle specific scenarios. I got to ask questions about the company and role, which was good, but a recruiter call first would've been useful for those questions and to see if I even wanted to pursue it. I'm leaving a negative review because I never heard back after the interview, not from the hiring managers or the recruitment team, even after emailing twice. It felt rude after I put in time for prep and the interview itself.
