First, I had a phone interview with an HR person. Then, I was given a design project by the design team and HR. After that, I had a zoom call interview with some current designers. Finally, I interviewed at their office with the VP, current designers, and others.

It was a pretty simple and fast process. I started with a phone call with HR who reviewed my resume and discussed the role with me. Then, about a week later, I spoke with my potential manager. She was really nice and just wanted to learn more about me. After that, I interviewed with the CEO. She asked some pretty basic questions. I'd read some reviews saying she was difficult, but honestly, she just seemed very clear about her expectations and was very direct, almost a perfectionist. During the interview, I asked if I could ask her a few questions. After I asked just one, she asked if I was scheduled for an in-person interview. The moment I said yes, she suddenly ended the call, which was quite odd.

Applied online and then had a phone interview the very next day with HR. The day after that, I had a face-to-face interview. The company's showroom is really nice and it's easy to get to, plus the office atmosphere is great. I felt like I did well in the interview and I'll definitely watch for future openings!

I had a phone chat with the current HR person, and they invited me for an in-person interview over the phone. The initial phone call was quite thorough and relevant. We discussed salary, and it was a bit lower than what I'm making now, so I asked if there was any wiggle room. The HR person said they'd check and get back to me. They actually called back almost right away and confirmed there was flexibility. I noticed a couple of potential red flags, but overall, my interaction with the HR person (who mentioned they were hired as a consultant) was mostly good, so I decided to move forward. The in-person interview was with the VP of operations, who had a very blunt way of communicating. Their interview style felt a bit accusatory, and some questions confused me, like why they asked about how many job slots I had on LinkedIn. Throughout the whole interview, I felt like this person was suspicious of me, my background, and what I was looking for. I didn't end up getting an offer, which I'm perfectly fine with.
