Production Manager
The interview process involved several stages that I found challenging at times. However, these steps ultimately prepared me well for the Production Manager role I was seeking. The company's thoroughness in their hiring process stems from their commitment to selecting the right leaders to ensure continued success and growth.
- What would you say to a coworker who asks why you leave early even if the work isn't done?
DJ/MC
I saw an ad on Craigslist and applied. I had a group interview and then got hired. After getting the job, I went through 2 training sessions that were each 1.5 hours long. I also had to learn a script for wedding announcements and things like that. Then I followed another DJ for two shows. None of the training was paid.

DJ
It's a group interview, so try not to be late or they probably won't hire you. Definitely bring your resume. Knowing about audio tech input/output is a plus. If you get picked, there's like 2-4 training sessions and some shadowing. The interviewers were pretty chill and easy to talk to.
- What is a major life goal you have?
- What are your 5-year career aspirations?
Sales
I saw an ad on Craigslist and the HR director called me a day or two later. They were super upbeat and asked me stuff like where I see myself in 5 years and how I handled a coworker issue. They kinda dodged my pay structure question, but whatever. After we talked, they emailed me directions for a second interview. On the day of the second interview, I got there 20 minutes early. They offered me water, which was nice. Another person was already there, and we chatted. Then another person showed up. When it was time, a guy led us to a room where three other guys came in. They asked us all a mix of serious and funny questions, sometimes really digging into stuff, I guess looking for the best fit. They mentioned there were 6 jobs open and 18 of us applied. The next day, I got the job offer!
- In five years, where do you envision yourself?
- Tell me about a time you had an issue with a coworker and how you resolved it.
- What's your spirit animal?
