I had a phone screening first and then two in-person interviews. The team was responsive and made the process smooth. I got a verbal offer after the second interview and then the details via email.

Behavioral Case

I went through 5 interviews, both behavioral and case-based, over 3 months. The interviewers were professional. However, I had to chase them multiple times to find out if I got the job. They didn't tell me until then. I asked for feedback to help me improve, but they never responded. It was disappointing not to get the job, but mostly I felt disrespected because they didn't give me any feedback.

Behavioral

I had a phone call with the director of engineering where we talked about their technologies, current projects, and my background. I mentioned a medical condition I have that prevents me from being around pet dander. Since they allow dogs in the office, the director spoke with HR and the CEO about it. Unfortunately, they weren't able to make accommodations for me. While they might be legally covered if my condition was officially recognized as a disability (which is tough to do), it's not ideal when a company seems to value dogs over employees. I love dogs, but a workplace should primarily be a workplace.

The communication was great. There were 4 rounds with 8 people. Every chat was genuine and positive. They really tried to figure out how we would align and work together. It didn't feel like an interrogation, and I never heard any tricky questions. They genuinely wanted to understand me, my skills, experience, and what I'd bring to the job.
