I had one phone interview and then a call a day later with a verbal offer. The interviewer didn't know my compensation. When I gave my desired salary of $20/hour, she said that's what the role pays. But then on the second call, she said it was $16/hour with no explanation. I took it for the experience, but declined the job later because the onboarding was confusing, a lot of work, and unprofessional.

The employer asked some good questions. A lot of what they asked were basic questions that most companies ask. For example, they asked about my experience, how I structure my day, and how I've handled conflict in the past.

I first spoke with an HR person, and then I met with what I believe was a VP, the hiring manager. I had a very brief chat with the medical director, but they didn't seem to know much about the day-to-day realities of working at Disovery. The VP was also not very familiar with the daily tasks but was quite knowledgeable about the systems in place.
