The interview starts with a swim test that's point based, so you don't have to pass 100%. After that, there's a non-scripted speech about your given topic. You get time to rest between them. Then the interview, I waited about an hour for mine since there were 3 people ahead of me. The whole process, start to finish, took about 4.5 hours. The interviewers and swim testers were nice and friendly. I was emailed about an aquarist position but interviewed for the zoological specialist (trainer) position, so I got a little confused and wasn't fully prepared for the questions. I interviewed today and was told to wait 2-3 weeks to hear back about an offer. The base pay is $13.50. The interview itself takes about 20 minutes, and you're asked around 6-8 questions. Half are "tell me about" and half are technical. Part-time is 4 days, 28-32 hours.

There was a swim test you should probably prep for; if you don't pass every part of the swim test then you wont get the chance to interview. The interview questions were mostly situational and some about your experience.

Saw the ad on Craigslist. Applied and got a call from SeaWorld HR for an interview. Drove two hours to SeaWorld for the interview, met the manager of the department. The manager sounded nice and made the job sound exciting. Was told I'd get a call if they decided to offer me the job. Received an offer the next day for $9.28/hr. Accepted and drove to Orlando. Filled out a lot of paperwork on old computers. Started orientation a week later.

It was a weird interview, they threw a lot of strange questions at me, mostly general stuff to gauge my personality. Then they hit me with some questions specific to diving. The whole thing took about 1.5 hours. I spoke with an HR person, a supervisor from SeaWorld, and another supervisor from Discovery Cove.
