Project Manager
The interview process for the Network side was more on-the-fly and had fewer layers compared to the Card side, which was very detailed and organized. It began with a recruiter phone call explaining the role, then a phone interview with the hiring manager, followed by a chat with the person I would be replacing. The final stage was a 2-3 hour in-person interview with four people: the hiring manager, their boss, a colleague, and the HR recruiter. The process wasn't tough, though the HR recruiter was a bit off-putting – quite aggressive and asking very basic questions. They also forgot to mention bringing work samples, but after a month of no communication, I got the job offer. I almost didn't take it, but I'm happy I did, as it seems like a great place to work.

Project Manager
Applied in May, but it took almost 2 months to get an interview. The process included a 30-minute HR phone chat, followed by a 30-minute call with the hiring manager. Then there was an on-site interview involving the hiring manager, their boss, and a third manager. Discover Bank is currently setting up fraud detection tools and tracking systems. The hiring managers are relatively young developers who recently moved from other company departments and have limited knowledge of fraud detection or tools, which may have hindered their ability to connect with my background. They seemed to be looking for younger candidates with a developer background.

Project Manager
First, there was an HR screening. Then, I had 4 separate 30-minute 1:1 interviews with team members. The questions were all behavioral, and the interview was well-structured. It started with 'Tell me about yourself' and then 3 more questions. After the interviews, the onboarding process was really fast.
- Can you share an instance where you made a mistake at work and describe how you managed the situation?
