Client Service Representative
It's a panel interview, probably with the team you'd join. They give you the questions first, then ask some follow-ups.
- Do you have prior experience with any particular databases?
Advocate
The interview processes were great. I made it to the second interview. But based on my observation, I notice that the process lack structure. They actually sent me an automated email that I did not get selected for the next process, but the administrative assistant assured me that this was a mistake and to ignore the email. I did find this a red flag. The first and second interviews had five-person panel. After the second interview, they told me they'll update me with the news within one to two weeks. One month later, radio silence, even after few professional follow up emails. I thought that was quite rude for an employer to ghost job candidates, especially after second round of interview! I have to assume that they selected another candidate and was just too lazy to let me know. I definitely dodged a bullet with DRC. Oh well. This is just to keep in mind that it is the new normal that DRC will most likely ghost job candidates after rounds of interviews. Don't expect them to reply back to you.
- Regarding your experience, can you share your story about applying for this advocate role?
- What actions would you take if you were employed here?
- Could you deliver a brief presentation on an advocacy-related topic?
Cra 2
The interview process was a panel with 5 interviewers. They asked really bad questions that were impossible to answer. This department seems to have almost no training, and the whole experience was bad. I've seen others withdraw their applications after interviewing, and now I get why. This department needs major improvements.
- Describe a time when someone let you down at work and how you handled it.
- What is your understanding of disability laws?
- In what ways can we support your professional development?
Supervising Attorney
They called me on the phone to start, and I got the questions ahead of time. I then had a panel interview where we went through those questions. It felt pretty standard. They mentioned that they'd either decide after this or have another interview round.
- Tell me about your supervisory experience duration.
- Describe your approach to handling employee performance issues via hypothetical scenarios.
