First Notice of Loss Representative
I applied for a couple of jobs initially that I didn't get, but they do respond and let you know that you aren't being considered, which is nice. I actually got a call from their recruiter a couple of months later for a new posting. I had two interviews the same day, which was also nice, only had to get dressed up for the interview once! Both interviews consisted of a Manager and a Team Lead. The Managers did most of the talking during the interviews. I felt very comfortable with both Managers, that they cared about me as a person even though they had to use their "canned" questions. I honestly don't remember how long the time period was from the recruiter first calling me to getting the job offer. I put 10 days, but it was probably less than that. I do remember that I interviewed on a Friday afternoon and was called to ask if I would accept offer on the following Tuesday.

The interview process is very formal and old-fashioned. They came with a booklet of "standard" interview questions, like "What wild animal are you most like?" The kinds of interview questions you find when you search on Google for oddball interview questions. When we sat down, they informed me that they would ask me 50 questions, and I believe they asked me 50 questions. Lots of "Tell me about a time when you..." questions that are not related to the role or even the department.

Sales Agent
Had a phone interview after an assessment, then a face-to-face interview at the branch with a manager. Did a meet and greet with other employees and looked around the location. Talked about day-to-day operations and responsibilities. The phone interview was a long explanation of my resume. The face-to-face was Q&A at the work location. It took a long time to confirm an offer and even longer to finalize things, definitely one of the least efficient job processes I've been through.
- How would you overcome this objection.
Auto Adjuster
I first sent my resume online and then a supervisor called me for a quick phone chat. He could tell I knew my stuff, so he set up an in-person interview at a salvage yard. We spent about half the time just talking about the job and my experience. Then we went out to the yard and he had me walk through some damages, identify parts, and we did some mock negotiations.
- Are you being quizzed on mechanical and suspension parts?
