I applied on the website after seeing the job on LinkedIn. The recruiter reached out about salary expectations, then I had an interview with the hiring manager, followed by a second round with the team. A final chat to answer my questions for the team was a nice touch, and I got an offer two business days after that. It was a really smooth and fast process, which was great.

I spoke with a recruiter and then the hiring manager, but after that, I was ghosted. As a fellow HR person, that's not a good look for the company. The hiring manager seemed annoyed that we went past a certain point, but the link he sent didn't have a time, so I wasn't sure when he expected me. Honestly, the time responsibility is on the interviewer. He also grumbled that I didn't seem to have led anything personally because I mentioned my team, but I feel like even the least experienced person on my team contributes to our wins.

Behavioral Technical Other

It was a pretty typical interview process. I was initially contacted by HR for the role. Following that, I had several phone interviews with both HR and an executive VP. Before the in-person interview, I completed an online personality test. The initial stages went well, although the job itself felt a bit undefined, and it seemed like many aspects were still up in the air, like the exact job title never being finalized. The in-person interview was fairly standard and further confirmed my impression that the company is in a transitional period with a newer team that's still figuring out how to approach this specific function. The communication was friendly leading up to the in-person interview, but after it, there was no follow-up, and the position remains open.

Behavioral Presentation

I applied a few months ago and had basically forgotten about it. A recruiter reached out and I was invited to meet with two managers. They explained the challenges and opportunities in their industry, as I had no prior experience in food. Later, I had a conversation with the VP of consumer insights, who was very positive. All three were great and gave me plenty of time to ask questions and provided thoughtful answers. HR then called a few days later with an offer, which was fair and gave me time to transition.
