This was probably the worst interview I've ever had, out of hundreds. It took about 5 hours. It started with a quick questionnaire about my C skills and a simple counting problem I could code in any language. Then, they tested my Excel and Word skills, followed by a personality test. Next, I had a chat with what seemed to be the manager. After that, I was in the server room coding on an Arduino with minimal instructions. I had two problems to solve there. Then they made me take an IQ test, which was weird and new for me, but I scored above average. Apparently, it wasn't enough because after all that, they told me I had 'raw horse power' but lacked knowledge of 'bit-banging,' which was the next challenge. They could have saved me a lot of time by mentioning that during the manager chat. It felt like a waste of time. They also seemed to prefer candidates willing to work over 40 hours a week, all for $17/hr.

The interview was held face-to-face and was straightforward to set up. I completed some skill-based assessments to demonstrate my abilities. I also had conversations with the manager and the CEO.

Coding Behavioral Technical

It was a long and tiring process that took a lot of time. First, I had a simple C++ program task, then a verbal interview. After that, I was given a hardware challenge that took most of the day. This was followed by an IQ test and another verbal interview.

Coding Technical Behavioral

The interview process was quite long and demanding. It started with a typing test, then an Excel/Word test. After that, I spent about 4-5 hours building a complete webpage. This was followed by a 2-hour IQ test. Honestly, it was the longest interview I've ever had, running from 10 am to 7 pm. The interviewer mentioned I did really well on the webpage design and that I'd be meeting with the manager the following week, which made me feel like I basically got the job. However, I heard nothing back the next week. When I emailed them, I found out they had hired someone else. It felt like a complete waste of my time, especially since they gave me false hope.
