Telephone basic interview where they explain the job and how they do it. They asked about internet speeds and plates to work in a quiet and HIPPA compliant space etc. No distractions in the background and low noise levels. Pay is decent for the job but must be self-motivated.

They are quick to dismiss you if they sense nervousness. There are no other questions, they just shut you down. The recruiter will tell you about their years of experience, the high turnover rate for this repetitive job, how they persuade HR, and even if HR approves you, they will grill you. They'll make it clear you're a bad fit. In my career in Optometry and Ophthalmology, I've never seen an interview where experience doesn't matter at all. If you lack in one area, they refuse training. If you're interested in building patient relations, supporting doctors, and providing excellent care, this job is NOT for you. You're expected to be a robot doing only one thing. For below-average pay with no raises (which was made clear in the interview and emails), it's not worth it. It was a great lesson to never settle for so little.

I spoke with 3 people, including the manager, COO, and CEO. It felt very conversational, giving off a small company vibe right away. It wasn't super intense, unless you were applying for an operations role. You should prepare by researching the company's history and its founder.

Had a video interview with two nice people for about an hour. They covered a lot of details about the job and were happy to answer my questions. It was pretty standard, no hard questions.
