So first there was a phone screening, then an in-person interview, then I was supposed to do a writing assignment, and then there was another interview. I only made it to the first in-person interview, but the crazy thing is, at the end of it, they told me I'd get the writing assignment the next week. I waited a whole week with no word, then got an email just before the weekend saying to hang on for next steps. Honestly, that sounds like they're keeping me in the running, right? Everyone I showed it to thought so too. It took another weekend and two weekdays to hear back, and then I finally got a call saying I wasn't moving forward. And the reason? They said they could tell I have a passion for something else, which is wild because that's exactly what I told them I *don't* want to do. It felt like they crushed my dreams and told me to pursue something I'm totally against. It really hurts to write this, but the whole process was just soul-crushing. This job was everything I wanted in a career, and they strung me along for weeks only to dismiss my own aspirations. If you're applying here, just be ready to wait around a lot for communication. The people are nice and it seems like a good place, but they really need to improve their interview process and stop giving candidates false hope.

So first you apply online, then you have this phone interview with Sophia, who is like, the sweetest person ever. After that, it was an in-person with Sophia, then Sophia and the department manager, and then the department manager and the Head of the whole department. They really make you feel welcome throughout the whole thing. It can take a while but trust me, it's worth it if they keep moving you forward. Seriously, I can't think of a better place to work.

First, there's a phone screening where a recruiter will ask important questions about the role. If you pass that, you'll have an on-site interview with the recruiter and hiring manager to discuss the position. Should you move forward, a follow-up interview with another hiring manager will happen, where they'll ask more about your background and expertise. Finally, a follow-up call will let you know how to proceed with the job.
