First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Digital Storm.
Customer Service Representative
The process is pretty straightforward. You'll be brought into a conference room where you'll answer a few questions. These questions will cover topics like how you'd deal with unhappy customers, your definition of customer service, and what attracted you to Digital Storm.
- What made you consider Digital Storm?
- How would you handle upset customers?
- What is your idea of customer service?
Computer Assembler
You have to put computer components together or wire them up. You get switched around a lot to do different jobs. So if you sign up for assembly you might become a unboxer instead. Also, the pay is very low, you won't get much from this place and you can barely live off the pay that they give you. You won't get your raise as promised, they usually postpone it over and over.
- Have you built computers before?
Technical Support Specialist
The interview process was brief but effective. It felt pretty standard, but the HR person leading it seemed a bit rushed and not overly friendly, though she did maintain professionalism. She asked me about my experience and other typical questions before giving me a quick scenario to work through.
- What's your first step when dealing with an angry customer whose computer isn't working?
Technical Support Engineer
It was a few rounds, starting with a phone call and then an onsite. During the onsite, I met with the team and they asked me about tools I'd use to diagnose a ticket, like HWinfo or similar remote system viewing tools.
- Which tool would you select for viewing system information?
