It was a three-step process. First, a chat with the recruiter. Then, two 30-minute interviews with team members. Finally, a 30-minute interview with a VP and a Senior Director.

So, I had a bunch of interviews for this Sales role, but it felt kinda disorganized, like I wasn't sure how many there would be. One thing that bugged me was that they didn't really have a plan for how this new role would develop over the next year. Because of that lack of clarity and organization, I decided it wasn't the right fit for me. Oh, and they also wanted me to put together a presentation slide before even offering me the job.

I applied for an Account Manager role but HR thought I'd be a better fit for Business Ops Analyst. I mentioned it was a junior role, but they said they were actually seeking experienced candidates. During the interview, two people from the bRealTime team were surprised I was interviewing for an entry-level job. It was clear the HR rep messed up. A few days later, the rep told me 'we were a victim of our own success,' which I found insulting because I took time off work to interview for a job I was overqualified for. All that wasted time.

I got referred to a position and didn't get much info about the role other than the job listing. I spoke with the head of HR, who wasn't sure who I'd report to and seemed unprepared. They mainly read off the job description and asked me to talk about times I've done similar things. When I asked about salary and benefits, they only gave the standard healthcare and 401k response. I thought it went well, but after no follow-up for 2 months, I got two decline emails. I'd be cautious about interviewing here.

  • Describe times you've done these things.
