Learning Experience Designer
We started with a quick 15-30 minute phone chat. Then there were two small group interviews, each lasting 45 mins, with a couple of teammates. After that, you'll have a performance task to complete. Finally, a ~1 hour panel interview with about 3-4 teammates and the team lead to go over the performance task.
- Can you tell me about your background with workplace equity?
Project Director
I did not get hired and I do not recommend applying here. I think they just want to steal people's ideas. I completed a performance task assessment that took me many hours. After a panel interview that I thought went very well, I never heard back. I emailed the recruiter, but they ignored me. The job was reposted a few weeks later. Others have had the same experience. Don't waste your time here.
- Develop and present a community event plan focused on digital equity and powerful learning.
Manager
Applied online and got contacted. Went through 3 interviews and an assessment. The first two interviews had different groups of people, then a final interview after the assessment. Some upper management seemed rude and uninterested, like they were worried I wouldn't be satisfied. They asked difficult and bizarre questions. They were late for both interviews, and one manager yawned a lot. After asking if I was sure I was interested in the job twice, they had another phone call after the assessment to ask me again. They were vague about travel expectations, which turned out to be untrue, downplaying the amount expected.
- What actions would you take if you had an unlimited budget for this position?
Researcher
First I got a screening call, and then a few days later I had an interview with several team members. After that went well, I was asked to do a 2-hour case study/competency task for the role. However, after I submitted the data task, I was ghosted. I followed up twice about my application status and got no reply. Given the time I put in, I was pretty disappointed and confused not to hear back or get clarity.
- Can you describe your approach to performing a literature review?
