The interview process with this company was quite unprofessional. It started with a director who seemed to offer me a semi-technical role, which wasn't exactly what I applied for. He spent about an hour trying to convince me I'd be a good fit, emphasizing my potential. He made it sound like I just needed to say yes and the job was mine. Then, he mentioned a few more pure technical interviews were required, which he framed as a way to ensure I was well-rounded, even though the role wasn't strictly coding-focused. After not hearing back for a few days, I got an email saying they weren't interested. While I understand not getting the technical position, the initial impression of having secured the semi-technical role was misleading. The company also had issues with sticking to timelines, including making me wait in the lobby for an hour on a weekday.

The hiring process did not involve a telephonic interview, only face-to-face interactions. The HR person seemed unsure about the entire process. The first round consisted of general technology questions tied to the resume. The second round presented a random design-related question. The overall impression of the company was poor due to the interactions. It felt like they were unsure of their specific needs. Their description of the company involved a legacy product with its own framework that would require continuous expansion, suggesting a lack of new learning opportunities.
