I applied online and about a week later, the supervisor for the department emailed me to schedule a call. We used Microsoft Teams for the meeting, which was a video call lasting around 45 minutes.

I applied for this role and heard back about a week later. They asked me to do a one-way video interview, which felt like it took forever and the questions were really old-fashioned. After I sent it in, I followed up with DCU about a week later and then again two weeks after that. HR got back to me within 24 hours both times with the same generic message about still reviewing applications. In the end, they let me know about 10 weeks later that I didn't get the job.

Behavioral

I had a virtual interview that seemed to go well. They asked me questions about sales and customer service. Towards the end, they asked about my credit report, and I was upfront about a charged-off account due to pandemic-related struggles. I got an email that same day saying I was moving to the next steps (background check and credit pull). However, they later decided not to move forward because of my credit report, even though I had already told them what they would find. It felt like a waste of time.

Behavioral Presentation Other

I made it to the third round of interviews. I had to give a presentation to a panel, which I think went pretty well. But then, I never heard back about a decision. I emailed the hiring manager a week later, and then again three weeks later, and still no answer. I feel like it's basic respect to let someone know the decision, especially after three rounds and asking for a custom presentation. They've since reposted the job, so I guess it didn't work out. It's fine, but letting candidates know is just decent. It's also kinda ironic that a role about inclusion didn't include candidates in the hiring process.
