First, I sent in an email saying I was interested. Then, I got some general questions and a picture of an app they made in-house that I had to bug report from an optical perspective. If they liked what I sent, I got a phone interview. After the interview, if it went well, I had to come in for a skills assessment test. Within a few days to a month, I heard back that I was hired. If I never heard anything, well, too bad!

Behavioral Other

The interview process was pretty standard for a software testing role. They asked some expected questions. I was a bit surprised by the question about what animal I would be, but the hiring manager clarified it was to assess communication skills, which makes sense. The entire interview was conducted over the phone, which was convenient since I don't currently have a car, and traveling to their office just for the interview would have been a challenge.

Technical Other

To get hired here, you'll go through a 3-step process. First, you answer a questionnaire online to send in your resume. Then, there's a phone interview. Finally, you come in for an in-office test covering typing and writing skills. If you can talk and write well, you can usually get the job.
