First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Digitain.
.NET Engineer
The interview lasted 2 hours and focused entirely on .NET CLR concepts. They were very critical and followed up on my answers in depth, expecting textbook definitions. For instance, I confused 'ordering' with 'sorting' and received an extensive lecture about it. I suspect they might not fully grasp the concepts themselves.
- Can you explain the internal workings of the CLR?
Analyst
The process began with an introduction, followed by a meeting with the department head who asked questions. I found some of the questions to be a bit irrelevant, and the behavior of the HR and department head was off-puttingly arrogant, exchanging glances and seeming quite toxic. A key moment was the surprise technical exam in Excel, which seemed to require SQL knowledge.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Could you explain why an Excel technical exam requiring SQL knowledge was administered for this role?
Senior Quality Engineer
It was in 2020 during covid, so it was all online. The interview took about an hour and had a good vibe. I talked about my past experience and my reasons for wanting to switch jobs. On their end, they shared details about benefits and what they were looking for in the role.
- Could you elaborate on your experience?
- What motivates your decision to leave your present role?
- What is your perspective on comprehensive quality assurance procedures?
Service Desk Specialist
The interview process is pretty chill. Just be calm and think before you answer. Computer knowledge and good communication skills are a big plus. It'd be great if you could show off your communication skills during the interview. You don't need to prepare too much; your general life experience and school/university knowledge should be enough. Maybe brush up on task prioritizing theory, as it could be helpful for situational questions.
- Can you describe a situation you faced related to this job?
- How do you approach logical problems?
- Can you solve a simple math question?
