I got invited by hr for an interview about 4 days after I applied online. The first interview went well and we scheduled a second interview via zoom with the department managers. They let me know that at the end of the interview with the department managers, there will be an assessment to take.

So I applied and sent in my application, and then I got an email to schedule a 20 minute phone interview with a recruiter a week later, which I did. I had my phone interview in the morning, and the recruiter really wanted me to come in for stage 2 for an in-person interview that same day, even when I said another day would be better for me to come in but I could tell they wanted me so I said yes. I got emailed the address where to go, but when I got there my maps app led me to the wrong building, and I was nearly 10 minutes late to my interview because I could not find the right building nor suite to go to. I believe this is the reason why I did not get the job.

So, for this role, you'll need to come in for a day-long, unpaid ride-along to see what it's like. We'll meet up really early, like 5:30 am, and head to the location. You'll have to pass a driving test, and then they'll let you know what the next steps are, which includes a two-week training period.

I went through 3 interviews for this role: one phone call and two in-person meetings. The last interview involved a social media task, a typing test, and a brief chat. It's been a week since that final interview. I didn't get any calls or emails about their decision, so I reached out to them. They said they sent a rejection email, but I swear I never got it, not even in spam or trash. Who knows why, maybe the internet was down or they just don't tell people when they've made a choice and tried to hide it. We'll never know for sure.
