First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dietz & Watson.
EHS Coordinator
I had a phone call with a recruiter, then a meeting on Teams, and finally an on-site interview. We did a walkthrough of the plant, and then they asked questions. The interview went pretty well and wasn't too tough.
- Were you experienced with more than one language?
Category Analyst
Applied back in February 2023, and then about a month later, I heard back about a phone screen. It was a 30-minute call with an HR generalist where they asked some basic stuff about the company and my experience.
- Could you tell me what you know about the company Dietz and Watson?
Marketing Manager
Applied for the job, and then was contacted for a panel interview with the team. No recruiter phone screen, so no info on salary or typical details. Panel interview seemed to go well, then silence. No updates given. About three months later, saw the job posting again. Three months after that, finally heard the role was filled. Communication from the whole team was really bad.
- Do you have prior experience working with food or perishables?
Sales
I had a 30 minute phone screening. Mostly background experience questions. The next day, I was invited for an in-person interview the following week. I met the hiring manager who was really nice and knew a lot. She explained her expectations and what the day-to-day job entails.
- Could you share your background?
- What's your approach to managing a challenging customer?
