Care Coordinator
The job description didn't quite match up with what was actually discussed during the interviews. The recruiter was nice, and the program director was great to talk to. But the current care coordinators who did the final interview didn't seem thrilled with their jobs and couldn't explain how their daily tasks help the company's mission. It felt like they just wanted someone to lighten their load and increase billable hours. For an entry-level role, they seemed to expect very specific prior experience. I was initially keen on joining, but after the final interview, I pulled out due to the mismatch between the job posting and what the team shared.
- What animal would best represent your work ethic?
Follow Up Counselor
The interview started with a quick Q and A with 2 supervisors, then a role-playing scenario. One supervisor played a caller, and I had to provide support by actively listening, validating their feelings, and showing empathy. It was crucial to pay attention to the details since I was responding to someone whose background I knew nothing about.
- How would you demonstrate empathy to someone on the phone?
Counselor
you will do a one-sided interview which is just you being recorded. Then an interview with 2 people that will mock the 988 calls. Its do able but the want you to be likable. Don't follow training if you have. If you are of color, be extra personable and likable and focus a little less on skills and experience. they are picky and want people they like

- What motivates you to apply for this position?
Training Supervisor
The recruiter was running 20 minutes behind for our first chat. When they finally connected, we went through a standard phone screening. They were really helpful answering all my questions and mentioned the process would be quick, with just two interviews before a potential offer. I heard from a colleague that these supervisor roles are tough to get from outside the company because there's a lot of internal competition. The recruiter confirmed this and said I seemed like a strong candidate. Unfortunately, I didn't make it to the next stage.
