First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dickies.
Licensing Coordinator
First round was with HR, then a second round with the manager. It was pretty straightforward. Some questions were kind of unclear, like instead of asking about working with different teams, they asked me to 'describe a time you got multiple teams together on the buy-in.' The manager wasn't super friendly and kind of downplayed my experience.
- Can you tell me about a situation where you facilitated buy-in from multiple teams?
Jewelry Consultant
The interview experience was very good and the interviewer was professional. The process went smoothly, and communication via email was prompt and orderly. I was underqualified because I lacked international experience, which they were looking for. I would recommend this company and might apply again next year.
- Do you have any international experience selling jewelry?
Materials Developer
The typical interview process involves an initial HR screen, followed by a meeting with the direct manager, and then interviews with several colleagues in related fields to assess team fit. However, there was a significant delay of six weeks where I was not contacted by HR, suggesting I might have been overlooked.
- Could you describe your experience working with PFAS?
Electrician
The interview was pretty straightforward. Started with a phone call where they asked me to talk about myself, my future plans, what I like to do, and why I'd be a good addition to the team. Then they brought me in for a one-on-one where they checked my skills and went over my resume. Overall, a really simple process.
- Can you tell me about your biggest failure and your weaknesses?
