I learned about the company at a university career fair and connected with a recruiter there, which led to a screening interview. After that, I had an in-person interview and store tour with the store manager, followed by a final interview with the District Manager.

Behavioral Technical

The recruiter was super helpful and friendly, making me even more excited about the job. He gave me some good tips on what they were looking for. The next interview, with the hiring manager, was virtual and didn't go as well. I was really prepared, but the manager had trouble hearing me and blamed my internet, even though I have a super fast connection and had tested everything. It seemed to improve after I changed headsets. I think I handled it well despite being a bit flustered, and I felt I had what they wanted, even though the questions weren't as tough as I expected. The hiring manager seemed a bit distracted and short with me. When I asked about the next steps, she gave a vague answer about hearing from them after they interviewed others. After that, complete silence. No email, nothing, not even to say they were going with other candidates. It was really disappointing and made me realize I wouldn't want to work for a company that treats people like that. It's been over a month, and I still haven't heard anything.

Behavioral Technical

It was a standard behavioral interview. I spoke with the recruiter and a manager. My finance background and interest in the stock market were noted. This was for a standard management trainee role. I didn't think I was the best fit but I tried hard since I needed a job. No offer was extended. Two months later, I ended up working at a brokerage firm, which is where I am now.
