Smooth process. Easy to talk to. Questions were simple. It's a 3 step process. First is screening. Second is with SVP. Third you present a presentation to the CEO.

The interview process had 3 rounds in total. First, I met with the Hiring Manager. He had experience in a service-based company and seemed technically knowledgeable, but he tended to question my answers, rephrasing them to imply I missed something. The second round was a DSA round, which was quite easy with two LeetCode easy problems. The third was a Tech depth round, a discussion about design and various technologies. Finally, there was a VP round. The VP was the most technically astute and appeared to have good managerial skills. This round also involved a conversation about tech, including file systems, computer architecture, and search indexing algorithms. I received an offer, but it was a lowball for a Senior Software Engineer. The HR team struggled to understand that listed stock units have value and didn't factor this into compensation adjustments, despite multiple attempts to explain. Feedback from about 10 former and current employees was largely negative, with a common complaint that management doesn't know how to run the company and uses poor KPIs for evaluations.

My worst job hunt experience was with Diamanti. I talked to the project manager first, and we discussed salary expectations. They said salary wasn't a constraint and moved forward with my application. I then had 3 interview rounds at inconvenient times because the interviewers were in the US. After these rounds, the manager called me about the package, saying they needed to check if they could offer that much. They ultimately rejected me due to budget constraints, which was strange since we'd already discussed it.

I just had my second interview for this role. Both interviews were exactly 30 minutes long and very structured. The interviewers seemed more focused on what I could bring to the company rather than getting to know me personally. It was made clear that this is a very numbers-driven position. Salary wasn't brought up in either conversation. Overall, I didn't get the impression that they valued their employees as individuals, so I don't think I'd want to work here.

Diamanti Interview Questions

Quoted word for word from Diamanti interview reports.

Can you sort the input string by ascending order to get a canonical total for each character set? For example, if A=1, B=2, C=3, the canonical total is 6. If D=4, E=5, F=6, the canonical total is 15. If G=7, H=8, I=9, the canonical total is 24. Given input "efg, ghi, abc", the output should be "abc, efg, ghi".
