This was one of the best and most seamless interview processes I've experienced. It started with a recruiter call where the recruiter was very knowledgeable about the role, the company, and its market position. They were professional and immediately likable. Following that, I spoke with the VP, first over the phone and then via video call; both interactions were awesome and exciting. The final interview was with the CRO over video, which was also a great interview experience. Overall, it was a positive and professional experience. Throughout the entire process, they were very responsive and always managed expectations well.

I first met with the hiring manager after connecting with a recruiter. He asked me about my experience, what skills I thought were my strongest, and to tell him about a sales win I was particularly proud of. I felt like the interview was over before it even began, but I appreciated that he was upfront about me not moving forward. So many recruiters and hiring managers are afraid to do that, and I really respect it. Salespeople should be used to that kind of directness anyway.

Behavioral Presentation

I applied online and the recruiter screened me the same day. Then I met with the Hiring Manager, Director, and another Sales Exec. This all took several months because of hiring freezes and headcount plans. After those meetings, I did a mock sales presentation. Everyone was friendly and the conversations and meetings felt pretty informal.
