I talked to the recruiter and it went well. Then I spoke with the Hiring Manager, which also went well and they said I'd move on to the main interviews. But then, like, weeks passed with no word. I followed up with the recruiter after two weeks and they said the job was still open and I was still being considered. Another two weeks passed and I got an automated rejection email. It was super disappointing to be ghosted and then get an automated message after everything seemed to be going okay. Really unprofessional, tbh. Probably won't apply here again.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process felt more like an interrogation by the hiring manager than a proper interview, with a lot of buzzwords and little actual substance. The second round was better, but it was with people outside my direct team, so it wasn't very helpful in understanding the role. The team seemed really stressed. I was then given a 72-hour exploding offer. They only granted a one-day extension and the recruiter mentioned they'd just go with the second choice. I didn't feel valued. They wouldn't entertain counteroffers. When I tried to follow up with the hiring manager, they frequently interrupted me mid-sentence, sounded angry, and even said, "Your job is to make me look good, my job is to make my boss look good." Definitely not a good fit.

First, I had a chat with the technical recruiter on the phone. Then, I went in for two in-person interviews with senior managers and other team members. Each chat lasted about 30 minutes. It was a really nice time talking to everyone, I actually liked all the people I met.
