It was a pretty standard process. Started with a recruiter call about the job and to see if I'd be a good fit. Then, I spoke with the Hiring Manager about some technical aspects of my background. The last part was a 2-hour interview with the team, split into 30-minute calls, where they asked more about my experience and some technical stuff. Didn't end up getting the job, but I was definitely qualified. It seems like each team at Dexcom interviews a bit differently, and they're looking for someone who knows their specific, niche tech stack really well.

I learned about this job directly from the hiring team. They were unclear about the role, saying only that the first interview would be an hour long, with 30 minutes for each of the two interviewers. The role and expectations were not clear. No recruiter was involved, so I had to chase the hiring team for info and got very little back. My experience with this company's interview process was really bad. From the start, interviews were scheduled with short notice, and I didn't get much info on who was interviewing me or what the interviews would be like. This lack of clarity continued, making me feel like I didn't know what was going on or wasn't ready.

After applying online, a recruiter contacted me to set up an interview. The recruiter's communication was a bit slow, but the person I spoke with for the interview was great, and I really enjoyed our conversation.
