It was a great process. There were 3 interviews and negotiations were easy. Benefits and commission incentives were great. The entire process took about 3 weeks, including 3 in-person interviews. The final interview was in Nashville with the regional director.

Behavioral Other

I interviewed for an Analytics Manager role at DEX. The interviewer told me they often hire recent college grads and pay them low starting salaries. They also mentioned that they tend to hire more females because male talent is more expensive. We discussed salary at the end, and the offer was significantly below market rate for a manager, even less than what some analysts make. The interviewer promised a salary of $140-150k in 2 years, either at DEX or elsewhere. This felt like a sleazy tactic. The company seems cheap and unethical, not valuing experience. I declined the lowball offer due to these red flags. They ended up hiring a female, confirming their earlier statement.

Went in person to interview for a Junior Sales Executive role. Met with Senior and Junior Management. Started with an office tour and met some other employees. Then had a formal interview in a conference room. Mostly talked about my experience and knowledge of office equipment sales, especially printers and supplies. Got the job offer the same week and accepted by sending a letter.

Behavioral Technical

I had one face to face interview. The interviewer did a stress interview just to see how I'd hold up under pressure. They asked a lot about how I adapt to situations and quickly find solutions.
