& Process

First I had a call with a sales rep who told me about the job and the company and what they're looking for. Then I met with a manager who focused more on the business side of things. Lastly, I talked to an HR person about salary.

I applied online and was offered an interview. I met with a team lead and a consultant. They asked me the usual questions and then my salary expectations. I asked for 42k€ and they laughed, saying it was too much but 'we'll see'. I was asked to send a summary of the interview by email that same evening (interview ended around 7 PM). The second interview was a week later with an IT consultant who had no background or knowledge in IT, asking me if I knew very basic things before admitting he didn't know them or had just learned about them, and that the job was unchallenging, consisting only of configuring the software sold to clients and installing it for them. He re-explained the same things as the first interview and also asked for a written summary of the interview. I was never contacted with a response, which should be the minimum when I'm asked to travel twice and write two documents.

Had an HR interview, then a senior interview, and then a director interview. The first interview was nice and they listened well. They gave a good presentation of the teams and the company, which gave me a good feeling about the upcoming senior and director interviews.
