Digital Marketing Associate
the interview process is super weird - it's not personal at all, they'd rather pick people based on tests and assignments. First, I had this video interview where I had to record myself answering, then I got two tests, and after that, an assignment. I never got any feedback on the assignment, and communication is really slow overall. Not a great work ethic.

Talent Associate
The interview process began with a 30-minute video call with the manager based in Barcelona. Following that, there was a take-home assessment, which was expected to take at least 3 hours to complete within a 3-day timeframe. I reached out to the manager with a question about the test but received no reply. After submitting the take-home test, I also got no response. It appears Devex doesn't value candidates' time or effort. I'm quite disappointed because the organization itself seems interesting. I wouldn't suggest putting time into their hiring process, as they don't seem to reciprocate, not even with a basic rejection email.
- What are your strategies for handling challenging conversations?
Product Owner
Really good process and quick feedback. Started with a call with talent, followed by a challenge, and then an interview with the other PO, Engineering Manager, and main stakeholder. Great product and agile mindset. I recommended an ex-colleague and he is currently working there. Totally recommend.
- How do you organize sprints?
- How do you manage stakeholders' ideas?
- What tools and frameworks do you use?
Reporter
I was reached out to by the editor-in-chief about a full-time opportunity after I had spent a couple of years freelancing with the news team. Since he was already familiar with my previous work, our discussion was pretty laid-back and focused on my job expectations. We covered the specifics of the role and what it would be like to move from freelance to a permanent position.
