First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Devcon Construction.
Designer
It was a remote interview with a relaxed and friendly chat about my projects and past experience. They also took the time to answer any questions I had. It was really cool to hear about how Devcon emphasizes teamwork, and they expect entry-level designers to grow quickly.
- Can you tell me about your background and what your salary expectations are?
Field Engineer
It's gonna be a bit different, you'll chat with the company president. You won't get many formal questions, maybe just 3 max. But you gotta be ready to talk about your skills, what you know, and your experience. Oh, and don't be shocked if he just asks what you wanna make.
- What are your salary expectations for this role?
Project Manager
Met with Gary, the President. It was a very laid back and easy going conversation. Gary is a good person and always achieves his goals. He will only hire top notch employees. I really couldn't think of a better boss to have and look up to besides Gary.
- Can you tell me about the goals you've set and achieved in the past year?
Project Engineer Intern
It was a really chill interview. The people interviewing me seemed super into what they do. The company feels like a place that really looks after its people. All in all, it was a good time and kept me interested.
- Can you describe a responsibility you had during your past internships?
