Activation Manager
The interview process was pretty straightforward. After applying, I received a call from the hiring department. We chatted briefly, and they decided to set up a more formal interview for the next day.
- In what ways does your background match the requirements of this position?
Marketing
Applied online and a recruiter reached out. After talking with her about the basics, I was put in touch with a C-level person to talk about the job. I'm not sure how that conversation went, but I sent a long email with more thoughts afterwards. Basically, I haven't heard back from them since the C-level chat. Over the last month, I've sent a thank you to everyone I talked to, the email I mentioned, and two follow-ups, but I've been totally ghosted. I'm fine with being rejected, but ignoring a candidate is bad form. Given what this team is dealing with, maybe this kind of inaction was expected. I don't wish them bad, they're looking for the right person to improve things, but if this happens to you, know you're not alone!
- What are your ideas for increasing fan engagement?
Ticket Sales and Service Representative
Applied online and got an email about a week later for a group interview. No travel compensation. Started with 12 people, ended up with 4. They were selecting two Ticket Sales and Service Reps. After they checked my references, I got an offer. Found out it paid $8.50/hr plus commissions from 0.3% to 2%. Was surprised by the low pay since the job asked for a lot of experience and a college degree. The job was posted again about a month later, so I guess nobody took the offer.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Describe a time you dealt with a customer service problem and how you solved it.
- Tell me about a mistake you made and how you corrected it.
Guest Services
I had a phone call to schedule an interview for a Saturday. When I arrived at the interview location, I had to fill out some paperwork, including an application, reference check, and background check form. I also chatted with other people who were interviewing and some staff members while I waited. After a little while, I was called in for a one-on-one interview with a staff member.
- Can you share a memorable experience from a previous job?
