First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Designs for Health.
Sales
The interview process had 3 stages, involving meetings with various sales leadership. It took some time to get responses back in some areas, but overall it was a decent experience. The way questions were structured across the interview rounds was a bit unclear, but generally, if you connected well with the interviewer, things moved along smoothly.
- Can you describe your experience in sales involving pipeline account management?
Value Stream Manager
A recruiter connected with me on LinkedIn. We set up a phone screening for a few days later. The chat went well, and the recruiter was upfront about the job and location expectations. We decided to proceed and arrange a meeting with the hiring manager. We exchanged a few emails to find a time, and then I didn't hear back. Poor communication, and a bad experience overall.
- Can you explain how your background aligns with the requirements of this role?
Business Development Manager
Had 2 interviews one with recruiter and one with hiring manager. Great feedback from both, then ghosted and no follow up. Then see the same job posted, this company is posting fake jobs- don’t waste your time. They are not hiring for these positions!
- Can you describe a challenging client interaction and how you resolved it?
Health Consultant
I applied online twice and then heard back. My first interview was a phone call with the recruiter. They were late calling but emailed later to reschedule. The interview was pretty standard, asking basic questions like 'tell me about yourself'. After about 30 minutes, they said I'd move on to the next stage with a manager. I also had to take a 'personality test', which I thought was a bit strange and maybe for people who can't evaluate well otherwise, but I did it. It was all multiple choice. The second interview was the next week, also by phone. This one was really unpleasant; the interviewer seemed annoyed and agitated. I think maybe my background wasn't what they were looking for. Their behavior made me think the negative reviews online might be accurate. I never heard back from them after that. I asked about turnover for the role and was told it used to be 50% but is now around 20%, which doesn't inspire much confidence.
- Could you tell me about yourself?
- Can you describe your background?
- What are your thoughts on personality tests?
