Chef
Very professional, I really enjoyed the interview and it reinforced my interest in this position. A very constructive discussion, I hope the next steps will be favorable to my application. Everything was done with complete transparency, which motivates me even more.
- What is your reaction to my unusual background?
Study Engineer
First, a recruiter call, then an interview with the management. The activity manager, the head of the engineering department, and the HR manager were present. They discussed their activities, how they are organized, and their work methods. I was also asked to summarize the interview.
- Tell me about your motivations for this job.
- What are your expectations for this role?
- Can you provide a summary of our discussion?
Project Manager
I applied on Linkedin and then the HR contacted me and agreed to a phone interview. Then I had an interview with the pole manager at headquarters. Once this stage was validated, I had another interview this time with the Director. Then I received an offer at the end of the process which I accepted. Overall, the process was pretty well put together.
- What are your salary expectations?
Method Technician
The recruitment process was really disappointing and left a bitter taste. My onsite interview was canceled only 30 minutes before it was scheduled, even though I had taken a half-day of RTT specifically for it. No consideration for the candidate's personal organization. Regarding the offer, the proposed salary was ridiculous (starting salary) compared to my 6 years of experience and my profile, which largely matched the technical expectations. Following my attempt to negotiate for a simple alignment with the market, the hiring manager's response was rarely contemptuous: a direct attack on my legitimacy and my professional past instead of a constructive discussion about a salary scale. In summary: chaotic HR management and a haughty attitude towards technical profiles. If you have ambition and know your worth, walk away. Too bad because the technical interview was quite interesting and fluid.
- It was more of a technical discussion, nothing specific was asked.
