The interview had a relaxed vibe, which helped me feel comfortable showing off what I know. They gave me a tech assignment that wasn't too tough but was a good way to show I'm a good fit for the job. All in all, it was a good experience.

The interview process started with a recruiter call, and the recruiter seemed very invested in the process. A developer even reached out to provide more details about the role before I moved forward. I then had a take-home assignment, followed by an interview discussing that assignment with two engineers. They were friendly and gave me good feedback.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • The take-home assignment involved building an API.

The interview process had 5 steps, and I went through all of them. They seemed satisfied at every stage. The final step involved presenting an assignment, which was quite easy, followed by some simple questions. I felt I was close to getting an offer and received positive feedback stating I was good and that good feedback was sent to HR. However, they decided to change the job description to look for a more leader-like candidate, which was unexpected mid-hiring. I have a negative impression of this company because I felt they wasted my time. With over 80 applications, it seemed suspicious from the start, but I wanted to see it through. Ultimately, no one was hired, and they seem to be wasting everyone's time with their lengthy process.
