Behavioral Presentation Group

We do individual interviews first and then a panel interview. The panel will focus on situational leadership and cultural fit. Typically, the interviews are done in pairs, with interviewers from HR, a peer level, someone a level below, and a higher-level person. After the interviews, notes and takeaways about pros and cons are reviewed by the group to make an overall assessment.

The interview process was easy, with only 1-2 questions. They were very welcoming. It started with a phone interview and then an in-person meeting with the hiring manager. I felt the interview was seamless and mostly about my resume and previous work experience. I got a good vibe of the company culture and the smart people there.

It was a good and respectful interview process with the interviewers. The questions were a bit tough for me. I was interviewed by three people: an operations manager, a general manager, and a CAD manager. The first two interviews were standard and went smoothly. The CAD manager focused on quizzing me about my knowledge of the CivilCAD program, which I think was where I missed the mark.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process for this role was a poor experience overall. It began very positively. The HR Recruiter from Koch (the company that acquired Depcom) was quite proactive. I had an initial screening, and the very next day, I spoke with the hiring manager. Soon after, within about a week, I was invited for a 3-hour panel interview with several leaders at their office. Unfortunately, after that interview, there was complete silence. I was expecting to hear back within a week, but I received no response. I followed up to express my continued interest and was ignored for another two weeks. After more than a month of waiting, I was eventually told that my background didn't meet their requirements, even though I believed I met all the qualifications listed for the position.
