First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Department of Public Works and Highways.
Administrative Assistant
The whole process went well, and I got the results of the exam in just about a week. They only spent around 10 minutes on the interview itself, asking basically 4 main questions, with the rest being follow-ups based on my answers.
- What makes you choose DPWH?
Engineer
I waited about an hour to get interviewed. The interview was very short and they only asked generic questions without any follow-ups.
- What can I offer to the department
Engineer
It was a very hot day, I went to the office and the staff was accommodating. I simply went in and gave them my resume and other documents and they stamped it received and told me to wait for a call.
- Where is your resume and personal data sheet?
Operator
I went to a job fair and had an on-the-spot interview. They asked to see my CDL and Dot card. The interviewer asked about my experience with heavy equipment, dump trucks, and trailers.
- Could you list the equipment you have experience operating?
