The interview process was enjoyable. Genida reached out first, and she was wonderful to speak with. I felt she was sincere and genuinely wanted to know if this job would be a good fit for me. After that, I had an in-person interview with Blade, who would be my manager. He was fantastic! Blade went over what the job involves, listened to my worries, and like Genida, he made me feel like it was important to him that not only would I be a good fit for them, but that joining this team would be a good fit for me. He was also truthful and easy to talk to, which are two qualities I really look for in a potential employer or manager.

So first, I spoke with a regional doctor recruiter who basically wanted to know if I would be a good fit for DentalOne Partners. After that, I had a meeting with the director of market operations for my area and the specific office I would be working at. Then, I interviewed with the clinical director for the company. My regional doctor recruiter called me back with a job offer. I did get to shadow some local practices before I started. Overall, pretty happy with how professional and communicative DentalOne was. Way easier to deal with than other places I've interviewed.

The interview process felt really long and drawn out. I spoke with about 5-6 different people. They seemed to be trying to be organized, but it felt pretty disorganized overall. I had to repeat myself a bunch, and it felt like information wasn't being passed along well. They never really explained the process upfront. I initially thought I was just going to have a casual chat, but it turned out to be a phone interview, and then another phone interview focused on a clinical scenario. I think they could really improve the interview process.

I got a call from the Regional Recruiter for a Phone Screen/Interview. We chatted and it went well, so then I had an in person interview at a DentalWorks in Durham, NC with the Operations Leader. I got there a bit early so I wouldn't bother them as they were closing. The interview itself was one-on-one and really conversational. You should definitely be ready to talk about your skills and how you can help the practice. I also had to do a drug screen before starting.
